As an individual, you’ll need an exceptional eye for detail, the ability to manage tight and shifting deadlines, a proactive and adaptable approach, excellent communication skills, and a polished professional presence.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth business operations, including staff management and support. Discretion is essential, along with strong organisational skills across both professional and personal responsibilities.
Responsibilities within your new role
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the CEO.
- Managing complex short, medium, and long-term calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Preparing reports, documents, and presentations, as well as accurately recording minutes during various meetings.
- Maintaining and enhancing the CEO’s professional brand both internally and externally.
- Communicating on behalf of the Chief Executive with stakeholders as needed.
- Assisting with company secretarial and governance responsibilities as required.
- Providing support for charity board activities.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a similar high-level strategic support role. A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, along with strong technical skills and an understanding of the fast-paced nature of an entrepreneur’s schedule. You’ll be proactive, always thinking one step ahead, and committed to contributing to the company’s overall success. Confidence, competence, and the ability to provide valuable insights for decision-making are key. Additionally, you will help implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency.
