As an Integration Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and integration of the mechanical and functional aspects of the automated materials handling solution and systems. This includes creating and managing the test strategy, test plan and test documentation.

What will you be doing?

Typical tests you will be covering include: Materials handling cycle tests, Stress testing of warehouse control systems, Functionality and User Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing. In addition, you will coordinate multi-disciplined teams on site. You will check and ensure that these teams have delivered the solution in line with the contractual agreements. This is a client-facing role that will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the solution and manage the client’s expectations.

What are we looking for?

  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification
  • Quality Assurance or testing experience
  • 2 years’ experience of automated warehouse systems that work in conjunction with a WMS application in Logistex or other companies
  • A broad understanding of PLC control and sensors for industrial automation applications with relation to automated warehouse systems
