A Production Planner is required to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Suffolk. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring smooth production planning. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain seamless manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and quality standards in production planning.
  • Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials.
  • Compare and analyse historical performance data to evaluate forecast accuracy and drive improvements.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or supply chain disruptions.

Background Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a similar food/FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Full UK driving license.
