Our client, a dynamic technology company established 5 years ago, has experienced exceptional growth, achieving an impressive £10m turnover. They are now seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a significant impact while working closely with the CEO to drive the company’s future success. The Role: As Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the financial operations, providing strategic financial insight, and ensuring the company remains on a strong growth trajectory. This office-based role in Weybridge requires a hands-on approach and the ability to influence decision-making at the senior leadership level. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and oversee the financial strategy to support business objectives. * Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis to the CEO and board. * Lead the financial planning process, ensuring accuracy and accountability across the business. * Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and oversee cost control measures. * Provide advice on financial risk, tax strategies, and investment opportunities. * Ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee statutory reporting. * Work closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives, including potential mergers, acquisitions, or scaling opportunities. * Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders. * Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function. The Ideal Candidate: * Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). * Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a senior financial leadership role. * Strong commercial acumen with a track record of supporting business growth. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. * Hands-on and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset. * Previous experience within a technology or high-growth company is desirable.
