My client is an established, leading Building Services Company who are making groundbreaking leaps within the sustainable development space, and they are looking for an innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer to come and join their growing team. In this role you will be providing electrical design solutions to a range of projects, whilst maintaining the company goal of being carbon neutral by 2030.
About the Role:
- You will prepare electrical designs, specifications, and documents.
- Use design software (AutoCAD, Navisworks, DIALux, Amtech, Bluebeam).
- Mentor junior staff, coordinate with other disciplines, and assist with project finances.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and manage contractor proposals.
Key Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in electrical building services design.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards (BS7671, BS9999, BS8519, BS5839, BS5266).
- Strong experience with: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, DIALux, Amtech - Revit experience is desirable.
- Desirable qualifications include HV design experience; membership with IET or CIBSE is preferred.
