Residential Support Worker Location: Ludlow/Shropshire- SY8 1DW Full Time- Shift patterns will be Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:00, longers hsifts may aslo be required which will be, 08:00-22:00. Kerry Collins are currently recruiting for residential Support Workers to undertake day shift bookings within the Oswestry/Shrewsbruy area, with various shift patterns available. As a Support Worker, you will be taking on some of the more routine tasks, such as: – Welcoming patients – Updating patient records whilst offering a first-class service – monitoring patients and performing basic health checks – making patients feel comfortable – Providing emotional support for an individual and their families – serving meals and helping to feed patients – taking patients out into the community – Light House-work – washing and dressing patients Requirements you need: – Must hold vaild UK driving Licence and have access to your own transport as public transport isn't an option to this location. – Passionate about helping others – Desire to improve the life of another – Good communicator and listener – Able to adapt and stay calm in challenging situations – Must be comfortable with providing personal care. -Experience with learning disabilities and non-verbal clients.
