Move Dance is Europe’s largest dancewear retailer and in this exciting time of growth we are looking to expand our buying team. This would suit you if you: Are looking for a part time role ( 3.5 – 4 days per week) Have experience within a clothing and or footwear buying and product development environment Have experience working directly with Far East factories, and a good understanding of importing goods Are able to commute to our location near Manchester Airport We can offer you: A salary of between £37.5K – £42.5K FTE DOE (£26K -£34K for 26 – 30 hours DOE) Hybrid working (Mon, Tues, Thurs – Office; Wed – WFH) A passionate team of people A unique opportunity to work within an ambitious medium business Key Responsibilities: Building and managing working relationships with both manufacturers and 3rd party brands, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a full account management approach Work closely with our product development and design team to ensure product is sourced from the most appropriate factories and timelines are managed to achieve the best results Negotiating cost prices, payment terms and minimum order quantities with suppliers to maximise sales and margins. Work closely with our marketing team to ensure our product vision is interpreted and presented to the customer to its full potential, including copy and photography briefings. Updating and maintaining the Range Plan with all relevant data, including price information and product attributes. Working with the merchandise team on stock levels and queries Ownership of regular competitor benchmarking and price analysis across territories You Will Have: Clothing and footwear buying experience Experience of working with far east factories Excellent communication Analytical skills Ability to build relationships Negotiation skills Proactive attitude Friendly and positive demeanour
