Commercial Finance Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are thrilled to have partnered exclusively with a business based in Doncaster who, due to acquisition and growth are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into their team. 

This role includes providing financial reporting, supporting strategic planning, and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships. A key responsibility is ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and financial targets while improving and streamlining reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial and operational data to assess commercial performance and compliance with revenue models
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support financial decision-making
• Work alongside Commercial and Retail teams to analyse performance metrics and provide actionable insights
• Prepare internal and external reports covering key business areas such as sales, promotions, pricing, and compliance
• Contribute to audit processes, ensuring accurate financial data collection and analysis
• Provide analytical support to finance and commercial teams as required

Skills & Experience Required:

\\n
• Experienced in financial analysis, budgeting, and/or forecasting
• Strong understanding of key financial statements
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with Power BI and SQL for data analysis and reporting (preferred)
• Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively with commercial and finance teams
• Proactive and thorough approach to financial analysis and reporting
