What you'll get to do: With huge amounts of exchange and performance data for you to chew on using our high-performance clusters you'll fish for imperfections in our trading, prototype candidate improvements and find ways to beat our competition to the chase. You'll have a direct measurable impact on our profitability. You'll be working in collaboration with experienced developers and quant researchers, who will encourage you to question the status quo and recognise any biases in the data. You will generate, test, and challenge hypotheses to create or improve low-latency trading strategies. Manage the quantitative trading strategies and take advantage of our systematic trading desk's top trading platform. What we're looking for:
- A BSc or higher in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Possess a methodical, quantitative way of thinking about the world as well as a rigorous, statistical approach to dealing with uncertainty in the markets
- Experience of Python or other research-based programming language
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar organisation on the development of algorithmic trading strategies
- Strategic decision-making and effective problem-solving abilities; attention to detail and superior written and verbal communication abilities
