ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher in the Halesowen area on a long-term, full-time basis to start in January.
The role
You will be working as a full time Reception Class Teacher which will include all the responsibilities to go along-side it.
As the Reception Class Teacher, you will be supported by a warm, welcoming team. You will be expected to attend relevant staff meetings. You will also receive a day of fortnight PPA with the team. There will be an expectation to finish reports at the end of the year too.
As the Teacher, you may also be asked to meet with parents for open day or parents evening in the summer term.
To be successful you will need to have a passion for teaching, good curriculum knowledge and good behaviour management.
We are looking primarily for Reception Teacher in Halesowen, however we have a variety of other roles available in and around the Dudley and Sandwell area at ABC so please feel free to reach out.
To be considered for the Reception Teacher position, you will:

Have previous experience working within EYFS

Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.

Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Have good understanding/ curriculum knowledge
