We are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join our clientβs expanding team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including privately owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders. The role will involve preparing financial statements, management accounts, and VAT returns, while also guiding junior team members and supporting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing financial statements and management accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Acting as a key contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing financial insights and support.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members, offering guidance and feedback.
- Preparing VAT returns and assisting with draft tax computations.
- Using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Assisting with ad hoc specialist assignments as required.
- Currently studying ACA or ACCA.
- Proven experience in full accounts production, from prime books and records to final accounts.
- Strong proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work within deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
