Zenith People are working with our client who are a Manufacturer based here in the North-East and are looking for an experienced, Time-served Mechanical Biased Maintenance Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Continental shift pattern – 4 days on (12 hours shift), 4 days off Permanent Key Responsibilities: Work proactively to maintain and repair equipment across multiple areas of the plant. Promptly respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance work. To carry out routine Mechanical Maintenance e.g. Pumps, bearings etc and to assist in electrical maintenance wherever possible. To maintain plant and equipment both reactively (e.g. breakdowns), and proactively (e.g. PPMs, spares build-up). To identify root causes wherever possible and to communicate with relevant personnel. To communicate all relevant and necessary information with lead technician, maintenance technician, colleagues or others within the organisation.
