Your new company is a well-established manufacturing company which works with some well-recognised brands in their industry and has gone through a massive period of growth and has various opportunities within their business.
Your new role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse Areas. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out warehouse operations in line with all standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring all operating areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
- Ensuring the product complies with all quality requirements.
- Ensuring material is delivered to production on time as per plan.
- Controlling all inwards/outwards deliveries.
- Completing daily paperwork to the required standard for integrity.
- Ensuring that reporting staff are trained to appropriate standards and managing the development plans for each reporting team member.
- Preparing and managing SOPs for the Warehouse areas.
- Monitoring and reporting logistics status vs plan requirements.
- Preparing and managing risk assessments of the Logistics areas.
We are looking for candidates who have managed teams within a fast environment. There is a dayshift position Monday-Friday 0800-1600 and then a continental shift which includes working between the hours of 0600-1800 and 1800-0600.
In return, you will receive £14.89 per hour for dayshift and £17.79 for continental shift, 28 days (inclusive of 5 Public Holidays) plus your birthday holiday, service holidays (additional days' holiday added to entitlement after every 5 years of service), pension (4% EE + 4% ER contributions), company sick pay, and a cycle to work scheme.
