The Accounts Assistant will assist the Financial Controller with the day to day tasks in connection with recording accounts information for cash management, revenue and other month end accounting tasks. The position will offer the opportunity to develop all round accounting skills and will be pivotal to the efficient functioning of the processes within the above mentioned scope of the business. Description Accounts Assistant Check bank balances on the Internet banking systems on a daily basis and relay information to the relevant members of the team; Maintain a daily cash flow keeping track of bank balances and transactions; Input details on the Oracle cashbook on a daily basis; Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, deal with discrepancies on a timely basis and ensure accurate and meaningful balances are reflected in the accounts; Raise cheques against requests received and ensure signatures in keeping with bank mandates; Review and reconcile petty cash floats given out to the garages, record transactions and prepare monthly reconciliations.
