Job Title: Supervised Contact Worker Location: Bromley Job Type: Full time/Contract Pay Rate: £16 Per Hour The role: Supervised Contact Worker to work within our Children’s Contact Centre Service (across various venues within the London Borough of Bromley) The main purpose of the role is to observe and supervise contact between children and family members, or friends, either within our Children’s Contact Centres/ Children and Family Centres or in the local community, and occasionally in the family home. The candidates will have good report writing skills in order to accurately and factually describe observations of contact. They will be required to identify the strengths of those attending as well as all potential risks intervening, where necessary, to reduce or remove any harm or abuse, therefore an awareness of families and family dynamics, along with a good understanding of child development is key.
