We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our wonderful SEN schools. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the children to provide social, emotional, and physical support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with moderate learning difficulties
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized classroom setting
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and participation
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress
