We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Estate Services team, based in Basildon and surrounding areas. As a Mobile Caretaker you will be responsible for carrying out an excellent caretaking service which will involve communal cleaning, sweeping, mopping and cleaning doors and windows. The role will be at times lone working and you will also provide cover to other schemes when required. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service. A company van will be provided for business use only and training will be offered as and when required.
The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

Undertaking general caretaking duties including cleaning communal areas such as stairs, doors and windows and removing bulk waste

Providing cleaning to stairwells and lobbies, external areas like bin rooms and communal walkways and garden areas

Removal of bulk, changing light bulbs, reporting repairs and environmental issues, completing daily work plans

Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep

Working with customers to identify faults, resolving issues and improving services

Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed

Literacy and numeracy equivalent to Grade C English and Maths GCSE
