Architectural Technologist

Job Role: Architectural Technologist Location: Manchester Salary: DOE (£30,000 – £40,000) Aztrum is pleased to be working with an established, reputable Architectural practice, based in Manchester. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to take on a motivated and driven individual Architectural Technologist to join with opportunities to work on high profile projects. The ideal candidate would have more than 6 years’ experience post qualification, with a passion for architecture and design. Key Responsibilities for Architectural Technologist: Must be within commuting distance; full-time office presence required during a 3–6 month probation to integrate with the team and learn systems. Strong interpersonal skills essential, with experience in client-facing roles and managing project expectations. Proven experience in contract administration and job running, with solid knowledge of RIBA and JCT contracts. Strong technical understanding of building design, detailing, and construction methods. Proficient in or open to training in AutoCAD/Revit; involvement in producing drawing packages as needed, plus willingness to travel for site visits. Key Responsibilities for Architectural Technologist: Applicants must already reside in the UK; we cannot consider those planning to relocate ahead of this role. Ideally located within commuting distance Holds (or is working towards) full membership of CIAT, RICS, or CIOB, with an accredited degree or HNC/HND in Building Surveying, Architectural Technology, Construction, or the Built Environment. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is preferred; must be able to interpret technical drawings and prepare schedules of work/specifications.
