We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team in Belfast. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to designated locations within specific postal codes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Please note: The following Courier Driver is for the peak period to cover the end-of-year Christmas holidays where there may be an opportunity to go on permanent contract based on your attendance and performance. Location: BT3 9JQ, Belfast Pay Rate: £13.42 per hour Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (1-hour mandatory unpaid lunch break) Key Responsibilities of Courier Driver : Planning Journeys: Efficiently plan your daily delivery routes to maximise productivity and ensure all parcels are delivered on time. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload parcels from the delivery van, ensuring that all packages are handled with care. Parcel Deliveries: Complete 65 to 75 drops per day, delivering parcels to various locations within the assigned postal codes. Vehicle Management: Drive a 3.5-ton van provided by the company. Ensure the vehicle is parked back at the depot at the end of each shift and maintained in good condition.
