Job Title: Part-Time Nursery Teacher Location: Ilford, Essex Pay rate of £90 – £110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications (12pm-4pm) Are you passionate about shaping the minds of the youngest members of our community? Do you believe in nurturing children’s innate curiosity and guiding them through their crucial early learning stages? If so, we would be thrilled to welcome you to our team in Ilford, Essex! About the Role: We are eagerly seeking a warm and dynamic Nursery Teacher to join us on a part-time basis. Your work schedule will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, five days a week, providing you with the perfect work-life balance to pursue your personal interests or commitments outside of work. The starting date for this rewarding opportunity is January. Responsibilities: – Plan, implement, and evaluate a creative and comprehensive educational curriculum that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of both the individual child and the group. –

Interact affectionately and respectfully with children, fostering their self-esteem and supporting their developmental milestones. – Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members, ensuring that the needs of our young learners are always met promptly and professionally. – Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for children, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. – Coordinate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of the children. – Observe children’s interactions and scaffold their learning by being an active learner alongside them. Requirements: – Qualification in early years education. – Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
