QA/quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset Team. As Quality Engineer for our Sensors facility, you will ensure our manufacturing processes comply with aerospace regulations such as AS9100 and Civil Aviation Authority for production, maintenance organisation. You will conduct product and process audits and engineering inspection reviews to verify that finished products meet technical drawings, specifications and regulations. In your role you will be liaising with customers and will perform investigations on customer returns, conducting root cause analysis and proposing corrective and preventive actions to address defects and process inefficiencies. Interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information. Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed. Performing analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. Degree (or equivalent) either Engineering or Quality standard Experience in quality tools and techniques (8D reports, Lean Sigma, PPAP, FMEA etc.) Be adaptable and flexible With over 50 years of experience in aviation technology, Curtiss-Wright\’s Sensors & Controls Division is continuing the legacy of flight innovation, providing critical components on a variety of commercial, defense and industrial platforms.
