The Opportunity

Extreme Reach (XR) is seeking an Information Designer to join our XRIQ Product Team. In this role, you will drive the design of how creative intelligence is experienced, shaping how data and insights are presented, consumed, and acted upon by our customers. You will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data teams to develop intuitive and impactful ways to communicate complex advertising insights. You will choose the best format for each audience and context, whether it is dashboards, reports, interactive visuals, or other mediums.

XRIQ brings together data across the creative lifecycle, from the inception of a brand idea to its impact on an audience. It uses AI-powered analysis to provide actionable insights that improve advertising effectiveness. Your work will be essential in helping brands and agencies interpret and apply data-driven insights to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and grow their brands. As an Information Designer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into intuitive, impactful, and actionable information, helping advertisers make smarter creative decisions. Responsibilities:

  • Designing Information Experiences: Design intuitive and effective ways to communicate insights, making complex data easier to understand and act upon.
  • Information Architecture & Prototyping: Define how information should be structured and prioritized within different mediums.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and business goals.
  • Insight Communication & Storytelling: Transform complex data into digestible, meaningful narratives.
  • Consistency & Innovation: Maintain and refine a design system for insight presentation.
  • Iteration & Feedback: Gather input from users and internal teams to refine how we deliver information.

Requirements:

  • Experience & Education: 3-5 years of experience in information design, data visualization, or UX design with a data focus.
  • Data Visualization & BI Tools: Proficiency with tools like Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Design & Prototyping Tools: Strong skills in Figma/Adobe (or equivalent).
  • User-Centered Design Thinking: Experience in information architecture, UX research, and designing data-rich experiences.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to translate technical data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Attention to Detail & Adaptability: Ability to ensure accuracy in data presentation while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Advertising/Marketing Experience: Familiarity with advertising metrics, creative analytics, or media performance data is a plus.
  • Data Storytelling & Writing: Ability to craft compelling written narratives that accompany visual insights.
  • Interactive & Coding Skills: Experience with D3.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS or other interactive visualization tools is beneficial but not required.
