We are actively recruiting HGV Class 2 HIAB drivers to work on a variety of contracts within the Swinton & Salford postcode areas. You must have at least one year's commercial driving experience and have HIAB experience.
We have our own in-house PAYE payroll and do not offer Umbrella Contracts or Ltd Company employment models. If you are unable to work five days per week, we are still keen to hear from you as there are always ad hoc requirements to fill and holiday times to cover.
Basic salary includes holiday pay - we offer the option to take your holiday pay weekly or to accrue it for time off in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 HIAB vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and maintain a valid Category C Licence.
- Load and unload flatbed cargo, securing items properly for safe transport.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain records as required.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with clients.
