The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a Technical Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Technical department, overseeing and supporting external consultants on each of our residential or mixed-use developments. This will involve project management support and administration of all technical matters and the need to review and recommend improvements to the reports and designs prepared for planning application through to the transfer of the site to one of our development partners. With assistance from the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the initial identification and preparation of constraints plans to facilitate early preparation of development layouts and subsequently ensure the proposals are updated when additional constraints and opportunities are identified. You will be supporting the regional teams in project managing, providing advice and guidance as required to ensure all relevant technical matters are identified and actions completed to facilitate the efficient and timely preparation of planning applications.
Essential skills and qualities:
- A good understanding of building regulations, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Understanding of key agreements relating to development, such as S106 (WI and T&CP), S38 (HA), S278 (HA).
- Previous experience in a technical role within housing development or land promotion.
- Diligent & methodical.
