We are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter on behalf of our client in the West Bromwich area to safely set up & operate machinery according to specifications and instructions.
What you'll do:
- Set the injection Moulding Machines to an acceptable standard and ensure all product is running efficiently and within specification.
- Operate the injection Moulding Machines, ensuring that the machines are kept in good working order and are completed to a high level and documented.
- Ensure that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling.
- Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
- Liaise effectively with the Tool maintenance around insert changes and the general condition of the tooling, ensuring that all tooling is ready to set by liaising with the planning departments.
- Work to Health and Safety within the Injection Molding area.
- Responsible for the quality of the product produced and raise any issues with the Quality department.
- Responsible for an effective shift handover and takeover.
- Ensure departmental and all company procedures are followed.
- Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard.
