Service Engineer / Field Service Technician to join a global engineering manufacturer.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will ideally have experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally in a field-based role, or someone in a similar engineering environment who is happy to travel across the UK and Ireland.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician shall carry out pre-planned Service, and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment., * Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

Provide on-site service and support, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Assist with machine installations and commissioning as needed.

Maintain accurate service reports and uphold a professional standard.

Will ideally be based in the South but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland.

Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Technician, Mobile Technician, Maintenance Engineer, On-site Technician or similar.

Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.

Full UK driving license.

Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota.

A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.

Happy to cover the South of the UK and be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland.
