About the Company: Hampshire County Council are recruiting for a Children In Care (CIC) Social worker in Alton. Responsibilities: Manage an agreed case load in accordance with statutory and Departmental procedures and objectives, and professional good practice to enable individuals to achieve goals and maximize their strengths. Decide which risks and care/support needs fall within the Department’s agreed priorities and eligibility criteria. In consultation with manager, individual and other stakeholders, decide on the most appropriate level and type of service provision to meet identified needs/risks. Decide on appropriate care plan which is within statutory and legal framework and reflects best value. Manager will authorise expenditure.
