A charitable organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant, this role will report into the Finance Manager and will form part of a team of 5. The main duties are as follows – – Prepare accurate, timely financial information, reviewing monthly management accounts and reporting results – Prepare and monitor budgets providing monthly reports to budget holders – Prepare regulatory financial returns both quarterly and annually – Forecast and monitor cashflow – Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns – Assist in preparing and modelling long term financial plans – Prepare all financial information and sections of statutory annual financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP requirements – Prepare information and lead on internal and external audits – Provide cover when required for the day to day processing of transactions You will ideally be ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIFPA qualified and have experience of producing financial statements and management accounts, this role will require you to work closely with non financial stakeholders so excellent communication skills are key in this role. This role will also offer the right candidate a clear progression path into a Finance Manager level within the next 18 months. This role will offer hybrid working, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare and flexible working hours.
