WINNER are currently working with a family-owned, staff focused, eco-friendly cleaning company who, due to their continued success, are currently searching for an Area Manager to oversee a range of commercial cleaning sites across from Barnstaple to Plymouth.

This role offers fantastic progression prospects into a full-time account/senior account manager for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities:

• As an Area Manager, you’ll be working closely with the Operations Director/Senior Account Managers to attend site visits and quality control audits
• You’ll be responsible for face-to-face interactions with customers and staff
• You will deal with the day to day operations such as managing sickness and holiday cover ensuring that sites are adequately staffed
• As an Area Manager, your role will be to build long lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction
• You’ll perform staff inductions, looking after up to 90 mobile cleaners at peak
• You will act as the first point of contact for any escalations or problems, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently

Skills & Experience:

• Candidates need to be skilled in at working in a fast-moving environment within the commercial cleaning service sector
• Customer service and relationship building skills
• Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone and email)
• Positive attitude to challenges with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a highly pressurised environment
• Flexibility is key as hours can varry to suit the needs of the buisness
• Full and clean UK driving licence and be able to travel to sites
• Must live within commuting distance of the location as detailed
• Be of a smart and professional appearance.
