Light Year Studios is a leading audio post-production company based in Soho & Fitzrovia. We specialise in high-end sound design, dialogue editing, FX track laying, Foley, ADR, and Dolby Atmos mixing for film, television and commercial productions. Our audio team are passionate about delivering world-class productions that elevate storytelling. We are now developing the delivery of full post-production along with industry partners in grading, editing and VFX.
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Agent to develop business growth by securing new clients and expanding our reach. The ideal candidate has experience in sales, a strong network within the media and entertainment industry, and a passion for high-quality audio production.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and generate new business opportunities within film, television, streaming, advertising industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with production companies, filmmakers, advertising agencies, and content creators.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Pitch Light Year Studios' services, demonstrating the value of their professional audio post-production.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project execution and client satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent Light Year Studios.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in film, media and entertainment, or post-production industries.
- Strong understanding of audio post-production services and their importance in media projects.
- Established network within the film, TV or advertising industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Retainer + Commission: This role offers a fixed monthly retainer for maintaining relationships and generating leads, plus a competitive commission structure for closed deals.
