On Air Dining is a multi award winning hospitality business providing high end catering to the private aviation and event industries. We produce exquisite food from our facility based in the leafy suburb of Church Crookham in Hampshire, by a passionate kitchen team and delivered by our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
This is an exciting, fast paced job that is perfect for an ambitious chef looking for the opportunity to build their experience whilst learning from experienced, talented chefs with Michelin starred and top tier hospitality backgrounds.
What you'll do:
- Prepare food to our exacting specification, consistently and on time.
- Take control & ownership of your section, with the ability to move between sections when required.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure orders leave the kitchen to the required high standards.
- Lead and train staff.
- Adhere to our high hygiene and safety standards.
What we're looking for:
- An existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for their next step, who has a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome.
- Demonstrate the skills and a have a passion to deliver fantastic food.
- Be an exceptional team player.
- Demonstrate great planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Plan and oversee day-to-day running of your section to meet service requirements.
- Have excellent workload management and prioritisation skills.
- Ideally hold NVQ levels 2 & 3.
- Possess good verbal and written English.
- Show willingness to learn new skills.
- Be computer literate.
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
We are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority so require a 5 year checkable work history.
