We are looking to recruit a confident, experienced Management couple to run the day-to-day operations at The Charleton Pub, based in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. This role would be ideal for, but not limited to, one Chef and one FOH Manager. We can also consider the option to take on the tenancy of the Pub following a 6 month probationary period if applicable.
A bit about us: Quality Inns of Glos Ltd are a family run pub group, with 15 sites across Gloucestershire and Devon. We are not a traditional chain and pride ourselves on the fact that each of our pubs are uniquely different, with an emphasis on serving good British homecooked food sourced locally, giving the customers everything they would expect at their local pub!

What are we looking for?
- The position requires a couple who are capable of working under pressure and juggling many responsibilities.
- Providing fantastic customer care, managing the smooth day to day running of the kitchen and front of house activities.
- Management of key performance indicators including budgets, wastage & GPs.
- Be self-driven and have determination to push the business to its full potential with advertising and promotions of live music & events throughout the year.
- Previous experience of running a high-level food establishment, ideally a managed house.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety.
- Couples, ideally but not exclusively, include one Chef and one Front of House Manager.
- Have hands on approach, lead by example and be a great team leader.
- Due to the rural location of the pubs, it would be an advantage that candidates either drive or have a reliable way of commuting as public transport can be inconsistent.
