An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a well-established contractor working around the North West area. The company offers a fantastic package with great opportunities for future progression and development. All the work is commercial (NO SUPERMARKETS) such as convenience stores, food factories, and other high street/retail stores. This will involve working on cold rooms, ice machines, bottle coolers, under-counters, display cabinets, etc. They also offer the opportunity to get trained up on industrial refrigeration systems and gain an ammonia handling certificate.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship
  • NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification
  • Approved Training Program
  • Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
  • Full Driving Licence

Package:

  • Salary - Up to £40,000
  • Paid door to door - at overtime rate
  • 40 hours per week (£19.23 per hour)
  • 33 days holiday (including 8 banks)
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • On Call 1 in 5 / £150 standby payment (hoping to get to 1 in 8 soon)
