ROLE TYPE: Part-time, Permanent

HOURS/DAYS (per week): 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) flexible/negotiable
SALARY RANGE: Up to £35,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience

COMPANY CULTURE & SUMMARY: My client is a fast-growing recruitment business specialising in delivering permanent and temporary talent to the fit-out and architecture sectors. They continue to scale each year, which has resulted in an opportunity for a detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join them, working from their Head Office on a part-time basis.
JOB ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): This is a key role in the business, providing day-to-day finance support and taking ownership of credit control.
- Managing credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Handling both sales and purchase ledger
- Reconciling accounts on a weekly basis
- Supporting with month-end processes alongside their external accountants
- Uploading invoices and maintaining records within their CRM (Mercury)
- General bookkeeping and finance administration
ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Strong experience in credit control and finance support within an SME environment
- Comfortable using Xero and confident picking up new systems like Mercury
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Professional and clear communicator, especially when managing debtors
- Able to work from Central London Head Office 3 days per week
