Head of Residential and Commercial Property
Are you a 10-year PQE Residential and Commercial Property Solicitor seeking a new challenge with a leading Firm seeking a Head of Residential and Commercial Property?
Our client, accredited with both CQS and Lexcel certifications, recently acquired by a prominent Firm ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, is in search of a Solicitor to join them as Head of the Residential & Commercial Property team.
Located in St Albans, the Firm has been dedicated to serving the community for over fifty years. Offering services across a wide spectrum of residential and commercial conveyancing services, including property sales and purchases, remortgaging, as well as the acquisition and disposal of land, plots, and units.
This presents a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and forward-thinking Firm, where career advancement and personal growth are encouraged. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting, overseeing, and enhancing the team handling private client and property matters across all office locations.
What will be expected of you?
To conduct own matters independently and to supervise colleagues in St Albans, and across other offices as necessary
To oversee the work of the Fee Earners and Assistants in St Albans, and across other offices as necessary
To liaise with other teams regarding department’s needs; to include, Staffing, IT, Training, Finances
To assist with Marketing and Business Development activities
Experience dealing with CQS and Lexcel along with overseeing Lender Panel and Land Registry requirements
Delivering a timely and high quality service to clients while maintaining a motivated team
