As a Mortgage Advisor / IFA, you will be responsible for providing expert mortgage and financial advice to a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with clients to assess their financial situations, recommend suitable mortgage products, and offer holistic financial planning solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored mortgage and financial advice to clients, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their needs.
- Assess clients' financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage products, protection plans, and investment strategies.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other financial institutions to facilitate mortgage applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, regulations, and market trends.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing financial guidance.
- Work towards sales targets and business development goals, leveraging both company-generated and self-sourced leads.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FCA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Mortgage Advisor (CeMAP or equivalent) and/or Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Experience in mortgage advice, financial planning, or wealth management.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, protection policies, and investment options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- FCA regulated with Competent Adviser Status (CAS) (preferred).
- Access to a client bank (desirable but not essential).
