We are sourcing a Test Technician for a medical device client in Limerick. This role is site-based and the primary function will be to assist in the testing and prototyping of medical device products in the R&D team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out any steps required for the build and testing of high-quality medical device products.
- Adherence to company Quality system procedures and all associated documentation which is provided to employees in order to assist them in the build and testing of high-quality products.
- Responsible for the completion of training in relation to the build and testing of product.
- Responsible for inventory management for designated R&D projects.
- Handling/preparing drug coated devices in a laboratory environment as necessary.
- Ensure that a high standard of GMP and housekeeping is maintained at all times.
- Support problem solving and root cause analysis teams when required.
- Highlight any potential issues to team leaders/Supervisors.
- Provide flexibility in working on any other tasks that may arise during the course of a normal day in a Test and Prototype build environment.
- May perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience in a test and production environment preferred.
- Previous experience in coating/assembly/stent loading/packaging process steps, while not essential, is advantageous.
- Previous experience in medical devices/pharmaceutical manufacturing is advantageous.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- High self-motivation.
