Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be supporting a Luxury, traditional Hotel situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. They are seeking a passionate Restaurant Duty Manager to join their team. The Restaurant hosts a seasonal a la carte menu of show-stopping British and European classics, alongside a fabulously exciting wine list for a truly delightful dining experience.
As the Restaurant Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests, with guidance from our Restaurant Manager and wider team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Engaging with guests and team members to meet and exceed their needs
- Making sure the ambiance and standards of presentation within the restaurant, lounge areas and bar exceed expectations
- Ensuring continuous learning and development for both yourself and the team
- Identifying new ways to surprise customers and delivering the highest standard of service
- Handling any customer complaints, fulfilling duty management shifts and ensuring any service recovery is completed to the guests' satisfaction
- Keeping up to date with the industry and market both locally and nationally
- Proactively instilling the values in every interaction with staff and guests alike.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced at a similar level
- People focused
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Knowledgeable of fine dining and wine, however, full training will be given
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Focused on providing excellent customer service.
