The role includes a broad variety of rural matters, and the successful candidate will take on an engaging and diverse workload collaborating with colleagues part of the Lister Haigh team, while also working independently. Key Responsibilities:- Valuations for all rural property types - inheritance and taxation, tax planning, family and partnerships, acquisition and sale, tenant right and stocktaking.
- Compulsory Purchase and Compensation claims relating to road schemes, electricity and water utilities, as well as Part 1 Claims.
- Strategic Rural/Agri-Business advice.
- Consultancy to include Environmental Land Management.
- Renewable Energy, and other emerging opportunities.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience and CAAV accreditation (or working towards).
- RICS qualification.
- A good understanding of the local property market and rural landscape.
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently, meet deadlines, and deliver a high standard of service.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients, the team and other professionals.
