Amazon is hiring a Principal Strategy Manager to join the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Strategy team, part of Amazon Logistics. The DSP team is building a world class, delivery operation to exceed customers’ expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered as fast, accurately, and cost effectively as possible by a network of small, entrepreneur-owned businesses, our Delivery Service Partners. This is a rapidly growing and highly visible program internally and with our customers. This role is a unique opportunity to play a key role in growing Amazon Logistics. Our small, high-impact Strategy team works across the program to support our Leadership, Product, and Operations teams to design and deploy a strategy that ensures we build to scale in the long-term. Within the team, this position will design and execute multiple high-profile projects, in areas including: operating and labor models, regulation, integration, and expansion. The person will establish relationships across a complex, matrixed environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive leadership consensus on the strategic path forward for the program. A background in logistics, last mile, supply chain, or with metrics and program management is a plus. This role is open to candidates to work out of one of London, Madrid, Milan, Munich or Paris. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree – Experience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement – Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition – Experience with end to end product delivery – Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product – Experience as a product manager or owner – Experience with product cycles of 6+ months – Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product – Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Experience owning technology products Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
