Caralex Recruitment Limited have been asked to recruit a Town Planner for a very well-regarded residential developer based in Bristol. They are able to buy large, important development sites and are well positioned to be the preferred bidder on most of the land that becomes available in their patch of Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
The role will be to work closely with the land team on sites they are reviewing as possible development sites to buy. The work will then continue advising the land team as the land is bought, through to obtaining planning consent, attending meetings such as public consultations, proposals and appeals, with planning consultants, councils etc.
You will ideally have experience of working in a Town Planning role with a residential developer and keen for a new challenge on more interesting projects, or a Planning Consultant that advises residential development clients, or a Planning Officer with a council.
A degree in Town Planning or related discipline and membership of The Royal Town Planning Institute or The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is expected.
