Our Client are a local, forward-thinking and rapidly growing family law firm who are seeking a Family Law Mediator based in Bedford on a full-time permanent basis. They are a progressive firm with a flexible approach to working and a focus on work-life balance. Responsibilities of the Family Law Mediator Work with couples/families to resolve financial and childcare related disputes taking an amicable agreement approach. Assess couples’ suitability for joint representation. Obtain and collate relevant financial and other evidence and client reports. Provide legal advice and facilitate discussions for clients. Obtain expert reports. Requirements for a successful Family Law Mediator Previous proven private family law and collaborative law experience. Excellent commercial awareness with a thorough understanding of the legal market. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.
