Role: SC Cleared Senior Digital DevOps
Location: London or Manchester – Hybrid
Length: 12 Months
Rate: £750 per day (Inside IR35)
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be part of a multi-functional agile delivery team and be an integral part of shaping and delivering automated solutions to enable the client to deliver quality services consistently. The successful candidate will be expected to lead engineers as well as collaborate with others,
Skills Required:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment – favouring and implementing Continuous Integration & Deployment over manual processes
- Demonstrable experience of designing, implementing, securing and supporting Unix/Linux based platforms (ideally RHEL / CentOS) and developing solutions using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go)
- Experience of developing and supporting cloud-based application platforms in AWS
- Knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (ideally Gitlab CI & Jenkins).
- Significant demonstrable experience in designing and implementing best practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation and Cloud-Init • Experience of working and leading in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, delivering products within specific time-scales and engaging with multiple stakeholders
- Flexible/adaptable. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Copes effectively with complexity and change
- Takes responsibility/ownership.
