Preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Work closely with the project team to identify and assess project requirements and potential risks.
Prepare Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and scope of works.
Support the senior leadership team and commercial managers with cost control and project budgets.
Provide input on value engineering and cost-effective solutions.
Assist in post-contract duties when required, such as assessing variations and final accounts.
Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate pricing.
Contribute to the growth and development of the company by providing excellent customer service and high-quality estimating.
Experience in estimating for commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or drylining projects.
Strong background in commercial office spaces is highly desirable.
A steady CV demonstrating consistent employment and growth in the construction industry.
Qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
Strong working knowledge of estimating software and construction methods.
Experience with pre-contract and some post-contract work is ideal.
Good understanding of project costing, material take-offs, and preparing tender submissions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.
