Vision Teaching are currently seeking motivated and reliable SEN Teacher to join our Specialist School in the borough of Hackney. This job is to start in January 2025 and will be full time for the duration of the academic year. In this role you will ensure the smooth running of classes and have class lead responsibilities adapting teaching methodology to fit the pupils’ capabilities.
As a SEN Teacher, you will be required to deliver pre-planned work over a range of subjects to a class of 6 students with PMLD, SLD and high behavioural challenges. The class will have 4 TA’s ready to support you at every step. We’re looking for individuals with previous experience working with young people, that can communicate and manage classroom behaviour effectively. The ideal candidate is energetic, lively and with good behaviour management skills, * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
