Our client is a specialist joinery manufacturer producing high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery. We are seeking a skilled Furniture Sprayer & Finisher to join their team and contribute to the finishing of our custom-made pieces.
Job Role: As a Furniture Sprayer & Finisher, you will be responsible for the preparation and finishing of high-end furniture and joinery items. You will ensure the highest quality standards in surface preparation, priming, painting, lacquering, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and sanding furniture and joinery components for finishing
- Applying primers, paints, lacquers, and stains to achieve the required finish
- Ensuring all finishes meet our high-quality standards
- Colour matching and mixing paints as required
- Maintaining spray booths and finishing areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
- Working with a variety of materials including wood, MDF, and veneers
- Assisting in the development of improved finishing techniques and processes
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE and ventilation systems
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience in furniture spraying and finishing, preferably in a joinery workshop
- Alternatively, experience in car spraying with transferable skills
- Strong knowledge of paint, lacquer, and staining techniques
- Ability to work with different finishes such as matt, satin, and high gloss
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
