Teqniq is searching for a Teacher – Home Education to work in the public sector. 36 hours per week. 3 months contract. 09:00-17:30 Job Description: Would you like to make a significant difference to pupils and their families in a unique setting? If so, Wirral Home and Continuing Education Service are looking for a number of well-qualified teachers to teach pupils (primarily Maths and English) in their homes and at their base in Birkenhead. Our pupils have a range of SEMH needs and are often highly anxious and would love the consistency of dedicated teachers who visit them regularly. Pupils in our service range from Year 5 through to Year 11, and there will be an expectation of GCSE teaching for some staff. Staff would be expected to plan their own lessons, using curriculum frameworks given. Every lesson really counts for our pupils, who have often been out of school for months.
