A leading Legal membership organisation is currently recruiting for a Events and Training Coordinator.
The Training and Events Coordinator carries out administrative tasks and duties that enable the effective and efficient running of the membership organisation’s training, events and associated services.
- Administration of training and events
- Process bookings, orders and expressions of interest for training, events and associated services.
- Administer training and professional development records for members.
- With colleagues from Central Services, track training and learning bookings and administer associated financial processes where necessary.
- Administer postponement, cancellations and booking transfers for members and customers on training, events and associated services.
- Work across different platforms, such as the membership database, the content management system (CMS), and the learning management system (LMS), to aid joined-up working between administrative processes and associated services.
- Assist with the delivery of the podcast, including recording, editing and uploading to online platforms.
- Support with membership services such as the recruitment of members onto membership organisation committees and working parties.
- Ensure members’ queries and support requests regarding training, events and associated services are addressed.
- Assist with the administration of subscriptions on the online agreements platform.
- As and when necessary, attend training and events, providing on-the-day services and support ensuring the experience of delegates is of a high quality.
- Administer venue and room requirements for training and events, such as the provision of audio-visual equipment and refreshments for delegates.
- Assist with the setting up of rooms for training and events, including seating and table layout and refreshments.
- Help ensure training rooms and training facilities are tidy and well presented.
- Ensure the provision of drinks and refreshments for delegates are set up for training and events.
- Ensure workshops are run smoothly at the flagship events and assist speakers.
- Update training and learning information and material on our online learning platform, including course material from events and info in our trainer directory.
- Ensure smooth management of members’ online user accounts on our online learning platform.
- Wherever necessary, assist colleagues with the development and implementation of a growing range of training, learning and professional development services for members and non-members.
- Maintain and make improvements to the systems for gathering and logging feedback on our training and learning.
- Prepare and send out publicity for training, events and associated services, when necessary.
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure training, events and associated services are marketed and promoted to members and non-members.
- Liaise with colleagues to help ensure the guidance and information provided to the public is useful and consistent with training, publications, content and other products.
