About the Role: We’re looking for a Conduct & Regulatory Oversight Manager to join a leading Lloyd's Syndicate. This key role reports to the Head of Underwriting Governance and Oversight and involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business to ensure good customer outcomes and adherence to regulatory standards. In this role, you’ll define and monitor customer outcomes, implement management information (MI) reporting, and support the team in compliance and product governance. You’ll also be pivotal in ensuring that the Syndicate meets its regulatory obligations while driving continuous improvement in customer journeys.
What you’ll do:
- Define and monitor good customer outcomes across all business channels (Direct, Broker, Accountant, and Partnerships)
- Set in place MI reporting to evidence good customer outcomes
- Provide 1st line support for conduct and regulatory matters, working alongside 2nd line support
- Support product governance and collaborate on the implementation of regulatory changes
- Review business proposals to ensure internal and external regulations are met and customer impact is considered
- Provide reporting and materials for senior committees, including the Conduct Oversight Group
- Collaborate with teams to drive high standards of conduct and manage the delivery of required actions
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in first line conduct and compliance within the insurance sector (carrier, MGA, or broker)
- Strong knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework
- Proven ability to interface with senior management and boards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Team-oriented with a track record of ownership and delivery
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
