Registered Nurse - RGN - Bank - Residential Care Home in Whitby. £20-£24 per hour, join a wonderful team in this fantastic, family-run, modern care home with great facilities. Are you a Registered Nurse who can provide exceptional care and support the clinical lead in this warm, family-feel setting? You will need to be a qualified nurse with registration with a professional body (e.g. NMC) and have an excellent level of English. You will be expected to have experience in a similar environment and be happy to complete further training and development as required.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure that service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Undertake the care planning activities for service users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.
- Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure that all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date on RADAR & the PCS.
- Undertake all aspects of medication management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
